Since 2001, PACT has delivered high quality arts education programming to over twenty thousand students, K-12, living in New York City and New Jersey.
Working closely with Districts, school administrators and faculty, PACT teaching artists design programs which integrates dance, music, theatre, visual and digital arts into the chosen curriculum. Programs may also focus on leadership skills, social skills, conflict resolution/violence prevention, bullying prevention, mentoring, recreation/sports, career awareness and the world of work, promoting respect for mulitcultural diversity, professional develoment, literacy skills, thematic projects and family literacy.
All programs are age appropriate, built aroung the NYS/NJS Learning Standards for the Arts and adhere to The Blueprint for Teaching and Learning Through the Arts.
All of PACT's teaching artists are seasoned teaching artists with degrees in education, the fine or performing arts or have had extensive professional careers in their field.
In 2008, PACT launched PACT: Partnering Arts Culture Travel as part of their domestic and international student program.
